Reported by ronferry on June 18, 2008
A beautiful and cool morning. Birds were singing at 0730 when I arrived at Pumping Station Road. Black & Whites and Worm eating warblers were everywhere. Also lots of Acadian flycatchers and veerys. I heard what I was sure were yellow throated vireos and Philadelphia vireos but today is too late for either of these species to be in this part of the state. Tomorrow I am headed to Rattlesnake to do some serious birding. These vireos may be there.

Species Reported:

Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Eastern Wood-Pewee, Acadian Flycatcher, Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Veery, Black-and-white Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Ovenbird, Louisiana Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat, Northern Cardinal
