System Requirements
Do I need to install any software?
Birding Central is completely internet based, so you do not have to install any software onto your computer. You only need a web browser and a connection to the internet.
What internet browser do I need?
Almost any recent web browser should work. We have tested birding central with Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Firefox 2.0+, Opera, and Safari.
Are there any other requirements?
The only additional requirement is that javascript support is turned on within your browser. If you are having trouble getting your browser to work, please contact us and we'll try to help if we can.
How much does it cost?
It's free! There are no costs to join and no subscription fees.
How do I get upgrades?
Because Birding Central is completely internet based, you don't have to install or upgrade any software on your computer. As new features are added to Birding Central, they are immediately available to you when you log in to your account.
