Actually traveled from home in Ft Myers to visit with family at Pembroke Pines, and had to drive across Alligator Alley. Witness a hugh flock or swarm of purple martins moving like a living ball of birds, going from place to place. Also saw a northern harrier hovering over a canal. In Pembrole Pines monk parrots have nest atop a great many of the towering street lights. There was also a family of egyptian geese, includes babies living on the golf coarse ajacent to my Mom's condo building.
