The yellow warbler was difficult to ID. The bird was warbler sized and a basic gray all over with faint single wing bar and short tail and a definative white eye ring. This would make it a first fall female golden yellow warbler. And was actually a few miles away from her normal mangrove envirnment, but was in a swamp with a mixed flock of warblers, titmice and woodpeckers. Also had a suprise visit with a hairy woodpecker. An unusal, but not a total unknown resident at Six Mile Swamp Slough.
